🌏❀️ A very special thank you to the administrators, teachers, and staff at Academy, Bayview Community School, and New Germany High School for warmly welcoming and hosting the 36 Grade 9 KUAS Japanese students this past week!

Our 2nd Annual Barn Dance at the 4H Barn in Bridgewater was an absolute blast! πŸ΄πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί

We celebrated the end of an incredible South Shore adventure with our KUAS Japanese students before they headed off to PEI for their final day in Canada. πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅β€οΈπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

The highlight of the evening? A high-energy group dance performance by all 36 talented Japanese students that had everyone clapping, cheering, and tapping their toes! πŸŒŸπŸ‘πŸŽ΅

A huge thank you to our amazing NSISP students and host families for helping make this such a memorable and special evening. πŸ’™βœ¨ The friendships, laughter, and cultural connections made throughout this exchange will be remembered for years to come.

Students were busy sharing interactive classroom presentations that highlighted many aspects of Japanese culture πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅βœ¨ From traditions and language to fun cultural activities, it was an engaging and meaningful cultural exchange for everyone involved. 🌏❀️

Our NSISP students enjoyed exploring the breathtaking scenery of Peggy’s Cove while meeting our newly arrived Japanese students πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ before heading into Halifax for cultural experiences, sightseeing, and a little shopping πŸ›οΈπŸ™οΈ
