Our second round of Literacy Tutoring Registration begins tonight at 7pm sharp.

This registration is ONLY for the period between August 10 - August 20. If you are not available during this time period, please leave the space for someone else. You will be able to choose the time of day you prefer, but your child will need to be available for that entire 2 week period.

Please visit the library tonight IN PERSON starting at 7pm. Spaces are very limited so please do not hesitate if you would like your child who is currently in Kindergarten to Grade 2 to participate in this summer tutoring session.

Kids will receive one-on-one tutoring with a tutor to help them gain confidence and strengthen skills before going back to school. You do not need a teacher recommendation for this round but we will still be accepting those forms if you earn a spot.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Heidi at [email protected]

We will NOT accept registrations by email.

"It's Scratchy, It's Catchy and I Just Don't Like it" by local author Steph Mulley might just be the cutest picture book you'll read all year.

Join us on Saturday, June 6 at 11am for a fun reading of her debut picture book, as well as lots of hands on interaction for the kids with a craft, and light refreshments following the event. The book will be available for sale for $16 following the event by cash or e-transfer and you'll get to chat with Mulley herself who is as fun as the colourful sweater on the front of her book!

No registration required--this is the perfect Saturday Storytime for kids aged 4 and up. Plan on getting here a few minutes early to get a good seat--this will be a popular event!

This Saturday is the last French Storytime event of the season! If you love these sessions, don't miss this one because the next one will be this fall.

It's a great way for your child to be immersed in a French story as these sessions are completely in French--but don't worry if you don't understand every word, it'll still be a lot of fun. Perfect for all ages!

No registration required. A big thank you to the wonderful people at Ecoles Catholiques Centre-Est for sharing these fun sessions with us this year again!

There is still plenty of time to register for the Carleton Place Youth Landscape Art Competition on June 13th. This will be a fun day and a challenge for young artists in our community to show us "The Beauty of Carleton Place ". Plus--there's an art show and everyone who submits a piece will be included.

We're so grateful to @ for helping us with this big project! The Art Hub will even be showing some of the winning works at the gallery later!

To register or find out more, visit the library or follow the link below or from our website.
