Last week, we were pleased to join our partner, Synergy Projects Ltd. for Good Neighbour Events they hosted in Caernarvon and Belmont.

Driven by a shared commitment to bringing much-needed affordable housing to our city, Civida and Synergy are working together to deliver new mixed-income homes in Belmont. In Caernarvon, Civida, Synergy and the Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations have partnered to deliver a new mixed-income building in the Caernarvon neighbourhood.

With new mixed-income affordable housing developments coming to both communities, opportunities like these help us get to know our neighbours and hear what matters to them.

We are committed to empowering individuals and families who will call Belmont and Caernarvon home, creating space where the diverse cultures within the community are celebrated and honoured, and individuals can gather, grow, and thrive.

Stable housing can change everything. 🏡

Carmen is one of the many tenants who've found stability and hope through Civida.

After becoming a widow, losing her home to a fire, and facing homelessness, Carmen reached out for support and found Civida. Today, she calls it her biggest support system.

"It's totally changed my life. If I didn't live here, I don't know where I'd be — because I have so much love here, and I'm happy to be part of this community."
