A big thank you to the Cameron Development accounting team for bringing such generous energy to Kids Kottage during their volunteer day! 💛

These exceptional volunteers came ready to help in every way they could, taking on meal prepping, deep cleaning, outdoor cleanup, and all the little (but important) tasks that help keep the Kottage running smoothly!

What stood out most was not just how much they accomplished, but the care and positivity they brought with them. Their willingness to jump in wherever help was needed made a real difference for our team and helped create a warm, welcoming space for the children in our care. Thank you all!

A heartfelt thank you to this incredible team from Inter Pipeline for spending the day with us back in April volunteering around the Kottage. 💛

From preparing dinner and snacks, to cleaning children’s bedrooms, tackling laundry, and helping with so many behind-the-scenes tasks, their volunteers jumped in with kindness, positivity, and teamwork from the moment they arrived.
Support like this makes a meaningful difference for our children, families, and staff, helping ensure the Kottage remains a clean, welcoming, and comforting space for little ones when they need it most.

THE TOTAL IS IN!

Our 'Stuff the Kottage with Comfort' donation drive collected an INCREDIBLE 1,245 BRAND NEW STUFFED ANIMALS for our little ones!!! 🧸🎉

Today, Kids Kottage Foundation honours Moose Hide Day, an Indigenous-led grassroots movement dedicated to ending violence against women, children, and all those impacted by gender-based violence.

Today, our KKF team is wearing our moose hide pins as a symbol of our commitment to learning, reflection, healing, and change. We stand with families, survivors, and communities working to end gender-based violence. 🧡

It’s officially time to Stuff the Kottage with Comfort! 🧸💛

From May 4–10, Kids Kottage is collecting new stuffed animals to help bring comfort to children arriving at the Kottage during times of crisis.

Each child who comes through our doors is given the chance to choose a stuffy of their own, something soft, comforting, and theirs to keep.

Help us reach our goal of 500 Stuffies for 500 Stays by dropping off a new stuffed animal at one of our participating drop locations this week!

Here’s how you can help:

🧸 Drop off a brand new stuffed animal at a participating drop-off location or the KKF Admin Building

💛 Donate $10 online to “purchase” a stuffed animal, and we’ll buy one on your behalf when supply drops low

✨ May 7 is Power Match Day!
In honour of National Child & Youth Mental Health Day, donations made on May 7 will be matched up to $5,000!

Together, we can help children feel safe, seen, and comforted when they need it most.

In honour of Child & Youth Mental Health Day on May 7, we need YOUR help stuffing the Kottage with comfort by helping us collect 500 BRAND NEW stuffed animals for our little ones! The campaign will run the week of May 4 - May 10, with May 7 (National Child & Youth Mental Health Day) acting as a POWER MATCH donation day!

Two ways to get involved:
1.) The week of May 4th, drop off a BRAND NEW stuffed animal (or many) at one of the listed ‘Drop Zones’ or at the Kids Kottage administration building.
2.) Donate $10 (or more) online so we can purchase stuffies on your behalf!
