PLEASE NOTE: this developer public meeting is the first opportunity for public input on the redesignation. Lacombe County must also conduct its own public engagement in the redesignation bylaw process. Future opportunities will be advertised according to the County’s notification process and legislative requirements.

BACKGROUND INFO
Armada Nowlit Energy Ltd., on behalf of the landowner Arkham Estates Corporation and Iceline Energy Inc., is seeking permission to redesignate approximately 1.78 hectares (4.40 acres) on SE-16-40-24 W4M from Agricultural ‘A’ District to Heavy Industrial ‘I-HI’ District.

The property is located on Haynes Road, south of Highway 12, approximately 5.5-km southeast of the Village of Clive.

The rezoning is being requested to develop a 19.8-MW integrated natural gas-fired power generator and associated on-site modular data processing centre.

LAST DAY TO PAY TAXES IS MONDAY (AUG. 31)

Lacombe County property taxes are due AUGUST 31. Payments can be made online through your financial institution, in person, by mail, by credit card through OptionPay, or by other approved methods. Please note that e-transfers are not accepted.

Property taxes remaining unpaid after August 31 will be subject to a 6% penalty on September 1, with an additional 10% penalty on December 1 for taxes still outstanding after November 30.
