The Prince Albert Police Service would like to invite members of the public to attend and listen in to the next meeting of the Prince Albert Board of Police Commissioners.

What: Prince Albert Board of Police Commissioners Meeting
When: Tuesday June 16, 2026 at 3:30 p.m.
Where: Prince Albert City Hall - 1084 Central Ave – Main boardroom, 2nd floor.

Board of Police Commissioners meetings offer an opportunity for members of the public to learn more about the day to day operations of the Prince Albert Police Service and hear from the Chief of Police and Deputy Chief of Police on important topics ranging from public safety, community engagement and other administrative duties.

The public portion of the June 16, 2026 meeting will include reports on the Mobile Complex Needs Initiative, Complex Needs Facility Update and a January to May 2026 Financial Performance report.

Last week, these five officers graduated from class #92 at the Saskatchewan Police College and will now come back to Prince Albert and begin their policing careers in our community.

The Prince Albert Police Service offers our condolences to the families, friends, loved ones, and colleagues of Ontario Provincial Police Constable Tarun Bali and Toronto Police Service Constable Marc Pinizzotto who were both killed in the line of duty this week.

Both Cst. Bali and Cst. Pinizzotto's courage and sacrifice will not be forgotten.

The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit is once again asking the p***c for their assistance in relation to the 2022 homicide of Lawrence Lavallee.

“Today we are asking for the public’s help. We are pleading with anybody who has information, please come forward,” said Lawrence Lavallee’s Mother, Shannon Lavallee.

The Prince Albert Police Service was honored to assist in the 3rd annual Run for Rose! ☀️🌹 Our Community Policing Unit assisted in bike marshal duty for all the participants! Unbelievable community support for such and amazing facility Rose Garden Hospice Association Inc. One of our favorite events of the year!
