PG Humane Society At the PG Humane Society, we rescue and rehabilitate abused, neglected, and abandoned animals.

We provide surrendered, rescued and stray animals with a safe, loving environment to live, rest, and heal as they await their forever homes, while focusing on supporting remote and Indigenous communities with limited resources and access to veterinary care through programs and services aimed at reducing pet overpopulation; additionally, through our Adoption and Humane Education Center, we offer educational programs for children and adults to foster compassion toward all living creatures.

❤️ They don’t know there are only 6 days left. But we do.

The scared dog who will arrive at our shelter next month doesn’t know about our 50/50.

The tiny kitten who may need emergency veterinary care doesn’t know.

The animal who will need food, medication, warmth, patience and time before they’re ready to trust again, they don’t know either.

But we know.

We know that every dollar raised through this raffle gives us more ability to say YES when an animal needs help.

August 31st is the final day to purchase tickets, and we are asking our community to help us make these last few days count.

We have just 11 DAYS left to buy tickets for the Prince George Humane Society 50/50, and we have never been this close to selling out.

We can’t even begin to tell you how badly we want to see that SOLD OUT sign. Not for bragging rights. Not for a number on a screen.

For the animals. 🐾

Every ticket sold means more resources to care for the animals who come through our doors. It means veterinary care, food, shelter, comfort and second chances. It means being able to help more animals in our shelters and throughout our community when they need us most.

We have never sold out a 50/50 before. This could be the first time and our community could make it happen.

We have a challenge for every single cat parent and dog parent in BC.

Tonight, look at your little floof. Look at that face. The one who follows you around the house, steals your spot on the couch, waits for you at the door, and knows without a doubt that they are home. They are safe. They are loved.

Now think about the little floofs sitting in shelters who are still waiting for that feeling. ❤️

The ones who don’t have their person yet.
The ones who came to us scared, hurt, abandoned or simply with nowhere else to go.
The ones who depend on the Prince George Humane Society to be their safe place until their forever family comes along.

We are challenging every pet owner to buy at least ONE $10 ticket.

Because if thousands of animal lovers across BC say “I’ll do it for the floofs,” we truly believe we can accomplish something we have NEVER done before…
