When someone is living with a serious illness, what matters to them should help guide their care.

Palliative care supports comfort and quality of life, while also helping families and caregivers.

On World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, we recognize the professionals, volunteers and loved ones who provide that support.

Everyone deserves compassionate care that respects their wishes. Today is an opportunity to learn more about what hospice and palliative care can offer.

Lorsqu’une personne vit avec une maladie grave, ce qui compte pour elle devrait guider les soins qu’elle reçoit.

Les soins palliatifs contribuent au confort et à la qualité de vie, tout en offrant du soutien aux familles et aux proches aidants.

À l’occasion de la Journée mondiale des soins palliatifs, nous remercions les équipes de soins, les bénévoles et les proches qui offrent cet accompagnement.

Chaque personne mérite des soins empreints de compassion qui respectent ses souhaits. Cette journée est une occasion d’en apprendre davantage sur le soutien que peuvent offrir les soins palliatifs.
