A welcoming, drop-in group for parents to connect with other parents, talk about the everyday ups and downs of parenting, and feel less alone.

AFTER SCHOOL LEADERS (ASL) is back for our fall programming! This is a FREE twelve-week course for all high school students (14-21). Youth receive hands-on mentorship on advanced mechanical skills such as tool usage, parts knowledge, frame painting and metalworking.

This program runs Monday and Wednesday 4:15PM-7:30PM from Mon, October 5, 2026 to Wed, January 13, 2027. Each session also includes a healthy meal and assistance with transportation. Youth also build up to two bicycles with the second bike as their โ€œtake homeโ€ bike.

Amazing opportunity for all youth ages 13-17 with a huge appreciation to the Winnipeg Foundation for supporting this programming and partnership between A.N.I.S.H and the Manitoba Paddling Association.

Please join us for an 8 week learn to Dragonboat youth program where you will learn to Dragon Boat, build confidence, make friends, get active, and enjoy Ojibwe teachings woven into each session.

Open to all youth ages 13-17, space is limited, first come first served.

Sessions run August 17th to October 8th every Monday and Thursday evening from 7-8:30pm. Indigenous learning from 7-7:30pm then learning to paddle from 7:30-8:30pm.

Successful applicants will be notified by email and accepted upon confirmation of that email. Please provide an email that you monitor regularly.
