Our intrepid team in Churchill didn’t let a bit of poor weather ruin Parks Day!

On July 18, Parks Canada hosted a Parks Day celebration at the Town Centre Complex arena. Pivoting to an indoor venue, we hid images of birds around the arena for a bird spotting activity and offered airbrush tattoos, building with peatland blocks, a photo booth with the iconic red chairs, and photos from Wapusk National Park’s trail cameras.

Thank you to everyone who attended and celebrated parks in Canada!
