Discussion focused on Marka-e-Haq, Pak-German relations, Pakistan’s mediation role between the United States and Iran, relations with Afghanistan, and developments in the Middle East.
Following the briefing, the ambassador also responded to participants’ questions.

Ambassador Saqlain Syedah held a positive meeting with Prof. Dr. Ottmar Edenhofer, Director, and Prof. Dr Christoph Gornott, Working Group Leader, Postdam Institute for Climate Impact Research.
Issues regarding nurturing collaborations between the relevant institutions in Pakistan vis-à-vis environmental protection, sustainability, and climate action came under discussion.
