It’s Day 2 on our journey across Wales to unveil our New Tactical Recognition Flash (TRF) 🏴
Today we are in Glynneath, where soldiers from 223 Squadron proudly received and wore our new Welsh Dragon TRF for the first time!
The flash was presented to the Squadron by — legendary Welsh comedian, singer, poet, broadcaster, and cultural icon. His work and voice are synonymous with Welsh identity, pride, and community, making his involvement a powerful moment of connection between Regiment, nation, and heritage 🤝
For our soldiers, this was more than a presentation. It was a moment of pride — a visible symbol of who we are, where we come from, and the communities we represent💪
Being an Army Reserve soldier means balancing a full-time civilian career alongside military service. Training takes place on some evenings and weekends, with a commitment of 27 days per year to remain fully trained. It’s flexible, achievable, and genuinely rewarding — building confidence, skills, and friendships that last a lifetime.
If you’re looking for purpose, challenge, and a sense of belonging, get in touch today — and wear the Welsh Dragon with pride!
