We recently carried out fire compartmentation works and fire door repairs at this property, bringing key areas back up to standard.

These aren’t always the most visible upgrades, but they play a critical role in slowing the spread of fire and protecting escape routes throughout a building.

All works were completed in line with site requirements, bringing everything back to a standard that’s fit for purpose.

Solar power is becoming more and more common - but it’s important not to overlook the fire risks that can come with it.

If inverter equipment is hidden away, automatic fire detection is essential.

On this project, a rooftop plant room had been built to house the PV equipment, but detection hadn’t been installed. Our team stepped in to make sure the system was properly protected.

Our team recently installed additional emergency lighting on escape routes at this school, after areas were highlighted during a fire service visit.

We reviewed the findings and carried out the necessary upgrades to ensure the escape routes are properly illuminated and up to standard.

A recent security alarm upgrade carried out at a school, ahead of integration with a new v**e detection system.

The upgrade allows the system to make full use of app-based notifications, giving members of the senior leadership team instant alerts when needed.

A simple but effective way of improving visibility and response times across the site.

Our electrical team recently completed an installation at a new commercial kitchen in Chard for a new customer.

All works were completed to spec and delivered on time, helping keep the project moving as planned.

It was also the site of Oli’s first visit from his college assessor - with some great feedback on the standard of work being carried out on site. Well done, Oli!

We recently took over the maintenance of a fire alarm system for a new client who had concerns about the way their system was being managed - along with ever-increasing costs.

Following a full inspection, those concerns proved to be justified. The existing setup included a mixed system with obsolete wireless equipment, multiple non-functional devices, and even some detectors with missing batteries - all without faults being reported on the system.

Our team carried out remedial works by hard-wiring the affected areas and upgrading the installation using equipment from Nittan Europe Ltd, including Category C VAD bases within the toilet areas.

The system has now been fully commissioned, tested, and signed off compliant.
