Want to find out a bit more about this year’s Summer Reading Challenge? Here’s our shelving assistant, Bryn, to give you a quick overview.
With a main challenge aimed at 4-11 year olds and a mini challenge for under 4s, it's a great way to share the love of reading over the Summer and prepare children for Autumn.
Thanks to Books Council Wales and the Welsh Government, we are able to offer an EXTRA prize draw this year!
In addition to our usual prize draw for finishers, EVERY child who registers for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge will be entered into a draw to win one of two £50 Vue Cinema vouchers.
Registering is easy – just pop into your nearest library and ask a member of staff (if you’re not already a library member you can sign up at the same time).
