Proud of our colleague who stepped into the ring for a kickboxing match on Saturday! 🥊

Managers and contractors from CFL came out to support him with great team spirit all around. The result wasn’t in his favor this time, but it takes real courage to step up and compete.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated and contributed to our MacMillan coffee morning.

We had a great turn out and managed to raise a wopping £400 (and donations are still coming in) and let’s not forget CFL is matching everything raised so it’s looking around £800 in total.

We’re so grateful for every visitor, donator and baker that’s been involved for such an amazing cause.

Labourer / Joiner's Mate Wanted (Sub-Contractor) - Fire Protection Company

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Joiner’s Mate to join our team on a sub-contractor basis, working on fire protection projects across the Derby/Nottingham area.

Requirements:
CSCS card (essential)
Asbestos Awareness Training (can be provided)
DBS check (required - assistance available if needed)
Must be eligible to work on a sub-contractor (CIS) basis

Role Involves:
Assisting fire door joiners and firestopping operatives
Manual handling and general site labour
Working safely and professionally on commercial and residential sites
Travelling between local jobs as required

Pay:
Rate negotiable depending on experience
Paid on a CIS basis

Potential for long-term or ongoing work for the right person

Location:
Based in or near Derby / Nottingham

Last Thursday, we hit pause on the usual workday and swapped our desks for bowling lanes, delicious food, and more than a few drinks! 🎉 It was an amazing company team day out filled with laughter, friendly competition, and some very questionable bowling techniques. 😄

Big shoutout to everyone who made it such a memorable day – we’re lucky to work with such a great team!
