This is your weekly reminder about our brilliant "Bring, Make & Do!" sessions, every Friday morning from 10.30 until Noon!

So, If you fancy a knit and a natter or even a bit of crafting over a coffee, bring your own projects down and craft in comfort in the library with lovely like-minded creative folk! ❤

As at Portobello Library draws to a close once more, we thought that we'd manage to dodge the rain but, sadly, as we write this it's finally started to chuck it down... proper felines & canines weather so luckily the majority of our beloved came in earlier in the day and avoided the deluge!

So, joining us today, in no particular order as usual, were... Dylan, Bear, Ruby, Rosie, Luke, Lily, Quinn, Duncan, Harvey, Kitty, Sofi, Honey and, last but seldom least, Porty super⭐ , who still maintains that if he'd been on pitch for v , the score would've been at least 50 - 0.

Reader... Orville is a world-class fantasist, his dinky wee legs make him rubbish at footy and therefore he should not be trusted to accurately predict match scores.

That being said, Morocco are getting absolutely gubbed tomorrow night!😉⚽

Bring your well-behaved & on-lead dogs along at any time between 10am-5pm for treats, general pats on the head and untamed adoration.

Will be here? The answer to that question is a resounding "Perhaps?", He might be here, he might not, he's like a cheeky wee imp that way! ❤🌭🐕

Just a reminder that it's our monthly RNID volunteer-led hearing support drop-in for April today (18/06/2026) from 10:30am until 12:30pm

You'll be able to get info about hearing loss, have hearing checks, receive basic repairs & maintenance of your hearing aids and be able to get help to access support & services locally.

There's no need to book and services are free so come along today for hearing help

Should you miss today's Drop-In, the next scheduled session will be on Thursday 16th July at the usual time of 10:30am-12:30pm

Councillor Jane Meagher (Scottish Labour) holds her constituency surgery weekly here at Portobello Library every Wednesday evening from 7pm. (except during School & Public Holidays)
