We have a small and exclusive number of these excellent zines created by local people in North Edinburgh as part of the Creative Resistance Project partnering with North Edinburgh Arts Centre, National Galleries of Scotland and Royston Wardieburn Community Centre. The zine contains poems, collages, drawings and other writings by folks in North Edinburgh - perhaps a familiar name or two! Congratulations to all involved on a great project. Our Chatterbooks group for ages 7-12 meets fortnightly in the library and uses books as a starting point for lots of imaginative activities. Here are the dates for this term. If you like a side-serving of crafts, puzzles, drawing and chatting along with your reading, then this could be for you! Places are limited; please speak to staff for a sign-up form.

We are beyond impressed with the work created by youngsters who attended the stop motion animation workshop run by Dominika Jackowska. And look! - she has edited the sequences together to make this brilliant wee musical movie. Well done to everyone involved and thanks Dominika!

We've still got some escape room energy, have you? It's your last chance to unlock the beats and perform the mystery tune onstage before the new term begins! Join us on Tuesday 11th August any time 12-4. We've had great fun with this - 'That was amazing!' said one participant as she climbed back into her tour bus.
