It’s never too hot for ice cream. The real question is, can you eat it before it melts?

A few reasons to put Canonteign on the summer list.

90 acres of Devon countryside.
7 lakes.
Fern Garden.
Labyrinth.
Poet’s Corner.
Ancient woodland.
2 waterfalls.
That will do nicely.

Let us know in the comments which of these Canonteign spots you’ll be heading for first.

A big day out. Smaller summer prices.
From 25 June to 1 September, we are passing the Government VAT saving on through all Canonteign Falls day admission tickets and our children’s menu.
That means you can save on this summers Devon day out.

We know summer days out can add up quickly, especially when you are trying to keep everyone entertained for six whole weeks and still have enough left for cake.
So if you are already looking at the school holidays and thinking, “Right, what are we actually doing?”, this is one to save.

Think waterfalls, woodland walks, adventure play, indoor play, children’s trails, lakeside views, café stops and plenty of space to burn off summer energy.
A fantastic Devon day out, with a little more left for ice creams, coffees and the next summer plan.

And yes, your day ticket will still include your free return visit, so you can come once, then come back again later in the season.

Summer Savings tickets are available online now for visits from 25 June to 1 September.

For now, save the dates and share this with your family and friends.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Canonteign Falls.

Today we are thinking of the dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures, and all the people who have helped shape us.

The ones we are sharing the day with today.
The ones we are missing.

However today looks for you, we hope it brings a little joy, a little fresh air, and a moment to think of the people who matter.

Not every Father’s Day plan needs to involve a big climb.

Some dads are waterfall walk dads.
Some dads are “I will admire the view from the café with a cream tea, thank you very much” dads.

Both are welcome.

Canonteign Café and the shop are free to enter, with free parking too, so you can pop in for a Father’s Day cream tea, a coffee, a browse, or a slower catch up without buying estate admission.

And if Dad does fancy the full Canonteign day out, dads get half-price entry this Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June when you book online using code DAD26.

So whether he is leading the way to the waterfall or leading the way to the scones, we think he has chosen well.

What type of Dad is yours the Waterfall walker or cream tea please, comment below.

One estate. Two waterfalls.
If you have ever reached the first waterfall and thought, “Is this it?”, you are not alone.

Clampitt Falls comes first. It is smaller, quieter, and a lovely pause on the way.
But keep going.
Further along the walk, you will reach the 70 metre drop of Lady Exmouth Falls. You can take in the waterfall from the bottom first, then climb the 90 steps to see the view from above.

It is one of those Canonteign walks that rewards the people who keep wandering a little further.

So if you are visiting this weekend, do not stop at the first waterfall.
Start with Clampitt Falls.
Keep going for Lady Exmouth Falls.
Climb the 90 steps for the view from above.

Then head back for something well earned from the café.

And if you are planning a Father’s Day weekend visit, dads get half-price entry this Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June when you book online using code DAD26.

One half-price dad per booking. Day tickets must be booked online.

Full details are on our website, https://www.canonteignfalls.co.uk/events/half-price-entry-to-dads-for-fathers-day/
