There is something special about a wedding day that feels effortless from beginning to end.

That was the experience for one recent couple, who celebrated their ceremony at the Exeter Historic Guildhall.

They praised the Guildhall team for helping everyone feel relaxed on the day, said the mace sergeants were “impeccable hosts” and described the venue as perfect for their small ceremony.

After the ceremony, they walked with guests towards their reception venue, capturing photos by Exeter Cathedral along the way.

Exeter Historic Guildhall offers a timeless setting for couples looking for an intimate and memorable ceremony.

Each ward has funding available until April 2027, and volunteer time can count as match funding too.

If you’ve got a project that could make a positive difference locally, now’s a great time to apply. More info in the comments below.
