Less than a month after Jason Arday’s death, Cambridge University was mired in another scandal. The former head of policy for Reform, James Orr, is using the University to recruit students. But we can’t trust this ‘respectable’ institution to get rid of racists.

We’ve been out up and down the country speaking to students and young people, and the message is clear: we refuse to accept that a bleak future is our only option.

The system wants us to drown in general pessimism and just accept the decay of capitalism. But we aren’t backing down, we’re fighting back. And we aren’t fighting with reformism, but with revolutionary politics.

That’s why we are launching Revolutionary Communist Students. It’s time to cut across the despair, reject the doom-mongering, and get organised.

The future doesn’t belong to the billionaires and the bosses, it belongs to those who fight for it.
