s is strategically located on Guam and represents a partnership between U.S. Naval Base Guam and Andersen Air Force Base. The mission of Joint Region Marianas is to provide executive level installation management support to all Department of Defense components and tenants through assigned regional installations on Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands in support of training in the Marianas; to act as the interface between the Navy and the civilian community; to ensure compliance with all environmental laws and regulations, safety procedures, and equal opportunity policy; and perform other functions and tasks as may be assigned.

If you graduated RTC on or after June 1, 2024 and were impacted by uniform shortages, the Navy is taking action to ensure you receive the uniform items you were promised — at no cost to you.

Eligible Active and Reserve Sailors may qualify for the Navy Uniform Electronic Gift Card Program through NEXCOM to obtain outstanding required uniform items.

✅ Redeemable at Navy Exchange Uniform Centers

📣 Join us in congratulating Connor S. Cox!

Today, Rear Adm. Brett Mietus had the pleasure of presenting Connor S. Cox the 27th Annual Commander Joint Region Marianas Student Excellence Award at DOWEA Guam High School.

Over the last 3 years, Connor has excelled in academics, sports and continuously gave back to the community.

He holds a 3.5 cumulative GPA, earned a spot in the National Technical Honor Society and serves as the NJROTC Color Guard Commander and Ordnance Officer.

His accolades don't stop there!
Outside of class, he does it all!

USAA will be available for Face-to-Face Claims Assistance TODAY, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Top of the Rock on Andersen Air Force Base.

🌐🛰Advancing Joint Cyber Security ⚓🇬🇺

Rear Adm. Jason P. Tama, commander, Coast Guard Cyber Command, accompanied by Capt. Jessica S. Worst, commander, Coast Guard Sector Guam, met with Patrick Dziekan, chief of staff, Joint Region Marianas, and Alejandro L. Buniag Jr., chief of staff, Joint Task Force–Micronesia, during a visit to Joint Region Marianas headquarters in Guam.

During the engagement, Tama received a Guam posture brief and met with command leadership and staff to discuss cyber vulnerabilities and resilience across operational commands, as well as government and industry partners. The discussions focused on strengthening full-spectrum cyberspace operations and safeguarding critical infrastructure in support of national, Department of Homeland Security, Department of War, and Coast Guard mission objectives.

The visit reinforced the importance of joint coordination and cyber readiness in maintaining security and operational effectiveness across the Indo-Pacific. 📸U.S. Navy photos by William J Busby III
