Only 2 weeks to go until Culture Night 2026 🥳

We love being a part of Culture Night every year! Here’s a taster of what’s on in Grangegorman on Friday 18 September:

✨ Grangegorman Histories invites visitors on a walking tour of Grangegorman and visit the new ‘Beyond the Walls’ Exhibition.

✨ Supported by the GDA Vibrant Community Fund, Annamoe Parade Group invites visitors to join the Green Grannies - a street theatre group of agents of chaos and climate action champions, for comedy, storytelling and plenty of fun.

✨ TU Dublin’s Faculty of Arts & Humanities welcomes visitors to the East Quad for an evening of visual art, opera, and orchestral music.

We're seeking a Programme Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of the Agency’s decarbonisation programme for the Grangegorman Urban Quarter, providing strategic leadership for the transition from fossil fuel-based thermal energy infrastructure to a low-carbon, resilient energy system.

They will lead programme governance, commercial planning, stakeholder engagement and project delivery to progress the programme from concept development through approval and implementation.

🚧 Works Well Underway 🚧

TU Dublin's resurfacing works on Astro Pitches 3 and 4 are making good progress. To facilitate these important upgrades, the basketball court remains temporarily closed and has been repurposed as a contractor compound for the duration of the works.

✅ The grass pitches remain open and available for use as normal.

We appreciate the community’s continued patience and understanding while TU Dublin carries out these improvements, which will enhance these facilities for everyone.

Grangegorman is a place of many histories. One lesser known chapter is its part in the cholera epidemics of the 1800s.
