"ORGAN DONATION : LIFE GOES ON."

NSS, SRCC in association with NOTTO (National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, invites participants to take part in "LIFE AFTER DEATH", an Extempore Competition. In this competition, participants will have to pick a topic from a bowl of chits which will be related to the theme of the event and speak on it on the spot.
This competition aims at spreading awareness on the importance of deceased organ donation. The following rules must be kept in mind.

Rules:-
1)Only Solo participation is allowed.
2)You will be given 1 minute to think about the topic.
3)You will have to speak for 2 minutes on the same.

Come and showcase your talent and speaking skills, competing against students from all over Delhi University. The winners will be awarded with cash prizes along with certificates.

National Service Scheme, SRCC in association with NOTTO (National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GOI, cordially invites you to participate in "TheReelGift ", a 2-day Film Making Competition. In this competition, the teams will be given instructions about rules and regulations on Day 1. You will be given entire Day 1 to shoot the film within the campus. On Day 2, you can shoot the video till noon after that teams will be given time for compilation.
This competition aims at spreading awareness on the importance of deceased organ donation. The following rules must be kept in mind.

Theme: "Life Goes On -
Grief Counselling
Rules:-
1)Each team can have a maximum of 3 members.
2) Make sure you bring along all your equipment like camera, video recorder and what not.
3) The topic for the film will be on the given theme only i.e. Grief Counselling
4) Participants can add fiction as well as non fiction content.
5) ‎Only college students can apply

Theatre not only releases the feelings, insights and impulses but also changes and raises the consciousness of people to their human possibilities.
National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO) in collaboration with National Service Scheme (NSS), Shri Ram College of Commerce invites you all to participate in the street play competition, which will be one of the many competitions organised in the fest happening on 4th-5th October 2018.
Street play will not only be an effective means of articulating the underlying concerns associated with organ donation but also at the same time entertain the audience.
The theme is Steps in deceased Organ Donation (from brainstem death to organ transplant) . The competition will take place on 4th of October and will commence at 1:30 pm sharp in the front lawns of the college.
Please read the following rules carefully-
1. The performance limit must not exceed 15 mins. Not adhering to the time limit will lead to negative marking.
2. The number of participants in one team must not exceed 20.
3. The content must not hurt anyone's sentiments in any way, though we respect your freedom of expression.
4. The judges' decision will be final and binding.

NSS, SRCC in association with NOTTO-NATIONAL ORGAN AND TISSUE TRANSPLANT ORGANISATION- Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, invites you to take part in the poster making competition.

This event aims at spreading the message of Deceased Organ Donation using one's creativity.

Each participant will only be given an A-3 size sheet and has two hours to showcase his/her creativity. Maximum 2 participants are allowed in a team.

So do participate in the competition and compete with students from all over India. Winners of the competition will be awarded with attractive prizes as well as certificates.

(English) and 11:30 A.M. (Hindi) on 5th October respectively at Front Lawns, SRCC. Each participant will be given 1 hour to pen down their beautiful articulation of words creatively and meaningfully.

3) The participants are requested to assemble in the Front Lawns, SRCC at least 20 minutes before the said time.

4) Participants are required to get their own set of stationary. The sheet to pen down the final slogan shall be provided.

5) The theme shall be given on the spot post which a time span of a hour shall be provided to all the participants.

6) The winners will be awarded with exciting Cash Prizes and Certificate of Appreciation.

The family of a 44 y/o woman, declared brain dead at Fortis Hospital, Noida, decided to donate her organs. Thanks to a green corridor organised by local police, the organs were transferred on January 21st and saved 5 lives. The liver transplant at Fortis Hospital, Noida was done by Dr. Vivek Vij, Chairman & Director, Liver Transplant & GI Surgery, Fortis Healthcare & the kidney transplant was done by a team of doctors headed by Dr. Anuja Porwal, Additional Director, Nephrology & Dr. Dushyant Nadar, Director & Head, Urology at Fortis Hospital, Noida.
