The Capacity Development Initiative on Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, and Mindset for Innovation and Digital Transformation officially brought together Saint Lucia’s national trainer cohort for two days of collaborative learning, foresight planning, and policy innovation.

The workshop forms part of an ongoing partnership between the Department of Public Sector Modernisation, UN DESA, ECLAC, CARICAD, and the Public Service Training Institute to strengthen anticipatory governance and public sector transformation in Saint Lucia.

As Saint Lucia continued advancing its digital transformation agenda, government officials, regional development agencies, and international partners gathered last week to examine the leadership, innovation, and institutional reforms needed to modernize public service delivery. The workshop brought together representatives from Caribbean Centre for Administrative Development, United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, and Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean alongside Saint Lucian public officers, with a focus on strengthening institutional readiness for a more efficient and citizen-focused digital government.
