🎭 Carnival season is here! 🇱🇨

On July 20th and 21st, 2026, the streets of Saint Lucia will come alive with dazzling costumes, infectious rhythms, energetic revelers, and the unmistakable spirit of Carnival.

But beyond the feathers, the music, and the celebrations... what is Carnival?

📖 Where did this vibrant festival begin?
🎉 How did it evolve into the world-renowned celebration we know today?
👥 Who were the visionaries and pioneers who helped shape Saint Lucian Carnival?

This Carnival season, take a journey beyond the parade route and discover the rich history behind the fete we all love.

🏛️ Perhaps it's time to visit the National Archives and uncover the story of Saint Lucian Carnival—one document, one photograph, and one memory at a time.

Because every celebration has a history... and every history deserves to be remembered.
