From the rank and file of the Saint Lucia Fire Service, we say Bravo to your heroic efforts in service to the SLFS and by extension, the people of Fair Helen. 👩‍🚒🫡🇱🇨🎖🚑💔

Recently I met with Mr. Stewart Beckford, Commissioner of the Jamaica Fire Brigade and the senior leadership.

I received a comprehensive update on the work of the JFB which goes beyond fire response. Indeed my administration is moving to more strategically and comprehensively improve the response mechanisms of our first responders.
The JFB will also be rolling out a training programme which will incorporate more efficient and modern best practices.
The JFB will soon be recruiting for young persons to join their cohort.
