As part of the students Civics syllabus, the Grade 5 and 6 students of the Boguis Primary School were treated to an authentic learning experience on the electoral processes.

Appointments to the Electoral Commission
On Friday October 7 2022, the Registration Unit of the Saint Lucia Electoral Department held a Voter Registration Training at the Financial Centre, Pointe Seraphine Castries. Four key agencies including, National Insurance Cooperation, Immigration Department, Home Affairs and Civil Status Registry were invited to make presentations, as each of these agencies play a critical role in the registration process of the Electoral Department. The aim of this training was to strengthen employees knowledge on the working protocols of the department and to update the procedures and registration processes in order to enhance the services provided our customer.
The public is advised that the Electoral Department; Castries Registration Unit (ground floor) and Vieux Fort sub office will be closed for business on Friday October 07, 2022 to facilitate a Registration Training Exercise.
