By the numbers: the New Dunedin Hospital is on the rise 🏗️

✅ First vertical installation of structural steel yesterday
✅ 11,000 tonnes of steel to be delivered on site
✅ More than 15,200 steel components to be erected
✅ 72,000m² inpatient building taking shape

After months of foundation work, vertical construction is officially underway. Watch this space as the new inpatient building begins to transform the Dunedin skyline

Our Emergency Department (ED) at Dunedin Hospital is undergoing some minor refurbishments and routine maintenance over the next three days 🛠️

Our teams and services are well prepared to keep operating as usual throughout this time 🏥👩‍⚕️

While there’s no planned disruption to our services, you might notice that things look a little different if you need to visit us for emergency medical care 🔍👀
