Love keeping things neat and organized?
Want free toy borrowing for your family this year?

We’re looking for a volunteer Maintenance Officer to join our friendly Toy Library team!

This is a great behind-the-scenes role that helps keep our collection organized, complete, and ready for local kids to enjoy.

What you’ll be helping us with:
🛒 Picking up plastic storage containers for our toys as needed.
🏷️ Placing labels on containers so every piece has a home.
☕ Attending our monthly committee meeting for a chat and a catch-up!

As a big thank you for lending a hand, you’ll receive a FREE Family Membership for the year!

As the cluster rises, we wish our wonderful Invercargill toy library community a happy and peaceful Māori New Year. 🌟

Matariki is a beautiful time to gather with whānau, reflect on the year that has passed, and look forward to the future together. We hope you are all enjoying the long weekend, connecting with your loved ones and making special memories with your tamariki.

💛 National Volunteer Week 💛

This week we're celebrating the wonderful volunteers who help make the Invercargill Toy Library possible.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on the dedication of our volunteer committee members to keep things running smoothly and provide affordable play opportunities for local families.

A few of our volunteers aren't pictured, but are just as appreciated.

Thank you to all of our committee members for the time, energy, and passion you give to our Toy Library community. We couldn't do it without you! 🧸✨

🎭 Librarian's Pick – June 🎭

This month, we're shining the spotlight on our Table Top Theatre!

Perfect for little storytellers, this theatre can be paired with a puppet collection from the library or used with dolls, soft toys and action figures from around the house

Whether it's a puppet show, a fairy tale, or a completely original production, this toy encourages creativity, imagination, communication, and plenty of giggles!
