📚🎶 A huge congratulations to Matthew Truman on his fantastic Social Sciences project on OSMC and the value of learning music. 🎶📚

So much research, thought, and hard work was poured into this beautifully presented project, and we are excited to share that Matthew was awarded 2nd Place in the Hobbies Category at the Southland Social Sciences Fair! 🏅

Ka mau te wehi, Matthew! We are incredibly proud of your achievement and of all the effort that went into this project.

Invercargill Symphonia’s concert yesterday afternoon was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday. 🎶
It was fantastic to see our talented kaiako Wayne Perniske (Musical Director), Beth Duffill-Brookes (clarinet), Hannah Douglas (flute), Hanna Ott (oboe) and Julie Wells (clarinet) performing. 👏🏼
It was also lovely to spot some of our fabulous OSMC ākonga in the audience, supporting and celebrating live music in our community. 🧡
