One shape… a vase, a pot, or a little hat? 😂

That’s the lovely thing about felting — the same template can take us in so many directions. One handle, two handles, no handles… each pair of hands brings a different idea to life.

Our biggest brain workout? Laying out the design upside down! 🙃🤣

And when something doesn’t go quite to plan, we pause, explore and find a way through. I love these teaching moments. Knowing how to reshape, adjust or repair your work is such an important part of learning — and often where the best discoveries happen.

Alcohol Ink : Flowers, Landscapes and Abstract Art with amazing tutor Kavita Lamba. Saturday, 21 November 10am to 2:30pm (16+)

This workshop experience could be a great early Christmas present for someone special or a fun girls day out for friends. Join us for a wonderful Alcohol Ink workshop creating flowers, landscapes and abstract art. Unleash your creativity with the wow factor of alcohol inks. No painting skills? No problem—alcohol inks make it easy to create stunning, vibrant designs. You’ll explore fluid florals, landscapes, and bold patterns while learning cool techniques like colour blending and using stencils to make your artwork pop.

All materials are provided—just bring your creativity and curiosity and walk away with a unique artwork you will be proud of. Limited to 12 participants for personalized guidance. Absolute beginners to skilled artists welcome.

Re-Loved is a celebration of creativity, sustainability, and innovation. Supported by the Creative Communities Scheme, this exhibition showcases artists who accepted the challenge of reimagining and reinventing materials that might otherwise have been discarded. Through inventive approaches to repurposing, recycling, and reusing a diverse range of materials, artists have transformed the ordinary into extraordinary works of art. Now showing in Gallery Five upstairs.

The Meeting of Minds brings together the distinctive talents of Yvonne Gray and Gail Smith in a captivating exhibition celebrating creativity across multiple disciplines.
Now showing in Gallery Four for the month of November. Meet the artists at the opening on Sat 31 October from 3pm,

Yvonne Gray's work spans printmaking, multimedia painting, and mixed media, with figurative subjects and landscapes that invite reflection and contemplation. Her thoughtful use of colour, texture, and form creates works that encourage viewers to pause and connect with the stories and emotions held within each piece.

Complementing these works are the ceramics of Gail Smith, whose collection ranges from charming, quirky cats and characterful donkeys to beautifully crafted functional pottery. Combining artistry with craftsmanship, Gail's ceramics bring warmth, personality, and a sense of joy to the exhibition.

Together, their diverse artistic practices create a rich and engaging dialogue between two creative minds, each offering a unique perspective on the world around us.
