DSWD PRESS RELEASE: DSWD advances PH social protection with 3 innovative programs for vulnerable children, persons with disabilities per PBBM’s directive

In line with the instruction of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to address the immediate and development needs of vulnerable sectors, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) launched three innovative social protection programs responsive to the unique needs of children, teens, and persons with disabilities.

Asst. Secretary Irene Dumlao, who serves as DSWD spokesperson, said the Department has launched Project SAFE, Enhanced ProtecTEEN program, and Project Aruga to advance social protection initiatives for these vulnerable sectors.(KB)
