In commemoration of the historic Victory Day marking the end of World War II, Philippine Veterans Bank is hosting the 2nd Victory Day Golf Cup on September 3 at the John Hay Golf Club, Baguio City!

Proceeds from the tournament will directly fund local WWII historical markers, honoring our veterans and preserving our rich heritage. Thank you to everyone supporting this noble initiative! 💼🏔️

A profound photographic journey into the birth of Baguio and Benguet! 🌲✨

Step back in time as the photo exhibit "Fragments of Memory: Images of Baguio and Benguet (1890–1909)" opens at the Baguio Museum! Running from August 3 to September 1, 2026, this rare and historical collection captures "the field, its people, and the birth of the city and province."

Dedicated to the original Indigenous communities and elders of Baguio and Benguet, the exhibition showcases rare archival photographs preserved in international archives, including the Stanford University Libraries and the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Visitors will journey through ancient trails, early Ibaloi homesteads, Kafagway, and the landmark construction of the historic Benguet Road (now Kennon Road).

Presented by the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Cordillera Administrative Region (OPA-CAR) under Presidential Assistant Antonio Tabora Jr., with historical narratives shaped by dedicated scholars and researchers, this exhibition serves as a vital platform to honor indigenous stewardship, remember our roots, and celebrate our shared Cordilleran identity. Centered around the inspiring theme, "Everlasting Baguio: Cultivating Circularity," today's event officially unveiled the Calendar of Activities for the upcoming festivities, alongside the sashing of the Miss Baguio 2026 candidates and a special recognition honoring our official delegate, Mr. Wayne Wright M. Likigan, for representing Baguio at the San Antonio Sister Cities Youth Summit in Texas, USA.
