On July 18, 2026, personnel of the Baguio City Cyber Response Team, led by PMAJ Annie Carmel C. Comising, Team Leader, under the supervision of PCOL Rafmil D. Corpuz, Chief of RACU CAR, conducted a Cybercrime Prevention Lecture for members of the Pacdal Senior Citizen Association at Rizal National High School in Baguio City.

The lecture discussed common social media-related cyber threats, including impersonation, phishing, investment and romance scams, and online selling fraud. Participants also learned practical ways to protect their personal information, secure their online accounts, and properly report cybercrime incidents.

PMGEN Wilson C. Asueta, Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, underscored, "Cybercrime prevention begins with awareness. By equipping every sector of society, especially our senior citizens, with the knowledge to recognize and respond to online threats, we strengthen our collective defense against cybercrime."
