𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗦 | Mas maginhawang pag-file ng life and retirement claims.

GSIS Baguio met with DENR-CAR on July 30, 2026, to share updates on the full implementation of the online filing and approval of life and retirement claims through the GSIS Touch app.

As one of the pilot agencies under the coverage of GSIS Baguio, DENR-CAR will participate in the full implementation of the online claims process, allowing members to file and secure approval of their claims without the need to personally visit a GSIS office.

Through the expanded adoption of online filing, GSIS continues to make its services faster, more convenient, and paperless while providing members with a better claims experience.

𝗚𝗦𝗜𝗦 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 | We continue to keep our Agency Authorized Officers (AAOs) and ERF Handlers informed through regular virtual orientations on the latest programs and updates for GSIS members.

Today’s session covered recent loan programs, the Balik Ginhawa LMTR 2 Program, the increased funeral benefit, online filing of claims, and other relevant concerns to help our partners better assist their fellow government employees.

Members who have questions or need further clarification on these programs may also coordinate with their respective AAOs and ERF Handlers for guidance and assistance.

Through continuous information-sharing and stronger partnerships, GSIS Baguio helps members stay informed about the programs and services available to them.

GSIS Baguio participated in the Convergence Caravan of Frontline Services for PNP Personnel and Dependents held on July 29, 2026, at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad.

Through its service desk, GSIS Baguio provided assistance and addressed the concerns and inquiries of participating PNP personnel and their dependents.

GSIS has signed its first Memorandum of Agreement with Maxicare Healthcare Corporation under G-HEALTH, a financing program that will make HMO or health and hospitalization insurance coverage more affordable for government employees.

Through the proposed program, GSIS will finance HMO premiums through a 0% interest loan payable over 12 months, allowing members to maximize their Medical Allowance under Executive Orders Nos. 64 and 95 without the burden of paying the premium in one lump sum.

Initially open to regular GSIS members, G-HEALTH is expected to benefit around 214,000 members during its initial rollout, with more Health Insurance Providers set to join to offer a wider selection of health plans.

GSIS continues to advance President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s housing agenda by helping more government workers achieve the dream of homeownership.

In Baguio, GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso led the awarding of land titles to three government employees under the GSIS Pabahay program, which provides practical and affordable housing solutions, including the Lease with Option to Buy (LWOB) program with no downpayment, lower interest rates, and repayment terms of up to 25 years.

To date, the LWOB program has enabled more than 5,000 families nationwide to become full homeowners, giving more Filipino families the security of owning a home and a stronger foundation for their future.
