Orange Warning: Benguet (Baguio City, Sablan, Tuba and La Trinidad)
Associated Hazard: FLOODING and LANDSLIDE is THREATENING in flood-prone and landslide-prone areas

Yellow Warning: Benguet (Kapangan and Tublay)
Associated Hazard: FLOODING and LANDSLIDE in flood-prone and landslide-prone areas

Meanwhile, light to moderate to at times heavy rains are being experienced in Kalinga, Abra, Apayao (Calanasan, Conner, Kabugao), Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Benguet (Atok, Bakun, Bokod, Buguias, Itogon, Kabayan, Kibungan, Mankayan), which may persist within 2 to 3 hours and may affect nearby areas.

The above conditions are expected over Apayao (Luna, Pudtol, Flora and Santa Marcela) within the next 2 to 3 hours.

The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to MONITOR the weather condition and watch for the next warning to be issued at 02:00 AM Tomorrow.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards. Residents along mountain slope are advised for possible landslides mudslides, rockslides and flash flood.

The province of Benguet including the municipality of Kibungan is expected to experience Orange Rainfall forecast, and the heightened risk of flooding and landslides due to the weather disturbance.

Barangay DRRMC of Ambiong with the La Trinidad MDRRMC and the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station inspects the landslide that caused road closure along the Ambiong–Lubas Road.

The road was closed following the falling of debris due to the heavy rains at around 5:30PM today, August 3, 2026.

Motorists and commuters are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes.

Pedestrians are warned not attempt to cross or stand near the affected area as the slopes may still be unstable.
