While most of the city is fast asleep, our CDRRMO responders are out under the stars -armed with chainsaws, flashlights, teamwork, and a commitment to keep our roads safe.

A fallen tree in Barangay Sumagdang blocked the roadway, posing a hazard to motorists and residents. Barangay officials asked for help, our team responded, cut the tree into manageable sections, and cleared the obstruction so traffic could safely pass once again.

The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), in coordination with the Isabela City Police Station (ICPS), SWAT, and SOCO, participated in the Active Shooting Incident Simulation Exercise (SIMEX) held at Geras Integrated School on July 30, 2026.

The simulation exercise aimed to assess and strengthen the preparedness, coordination, and response capabilities of participating agencies during an active shooting incident. The CDRRMO Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provided emergency medical response and patient management, while partner agencies carried out tactical operations, scene security, and investigative procedures.

Through this collaborative exercise, the participating agencies reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing inter-agency coordination, improving emergency response capabilities, and ensuring the safety and security of schools and the community during critical incidents.
