PMO Chief Privatization Officer (CPO) Michael Peter A. Alejandro served as keynote speaker during the Convening Ceremony of the Coast Guard Infrastructure Development Specialization Course Class 01-2026 and Coast Guard Logistics Fundamental Course Class 04-2026.

In his message, CPO Alejandro highlighted the importance of responsible stewardship of public resources, emphasizing how properly managed infrastructure, equipment, facilities, and logistics contribute to the Philippine Coast Guard’s operational readiness and its service to the Filipino people.

Present from the Philippine Coast Guard were Rear Admiral Mitzie S. Silva-Campo, Captain Marlowe O. Acevedo, Captain Johnnyrex V. Baranda, Captain Laurince Ivan N. Felizarte, and Lieutenant Junior Grade John Richard M. Muring.

CPO Alejandro closed his message by challenging the participants to “leave the institution better than you found it,” underscoring the lasting responsibility that comes with public service.

The Privatization and Management Office (PMO) met with the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on 15 September 2026 to coordinate and discuss updates on RPN9 and matters concerning the privatization of IBC 13.

Representing PMO were Chief Privatization Officer Michael Peter A. Alejandro, Deputy Privatization Officers Atty. Juan Carlo O. Pielago and Atty. Carlo C. Tabaloc, Division Chief Melinda Cortez, and Atty. Rechel De Torres.

PCO was represented by Undersecretary Atty. Ruth Abegail C. Sestoso, Assistant Secretary Atty. Rufino Gerard G. Moreno III, CESE, Director III Atty. Kristine Joy N. Llano, and Administrative Officer Kryzza Llanes.

The Privatization and Management Office (PMO) and Victoryland Corporation formally signed the Deed of Absolute Sale and Turnover for two properties located in Angono, Rizal.

Present during the signing were Victoryland Corporation President Vivien Co, Legal Services DPO Atty. Juan Carlo O. Pielago, and Marketing DPO Atty. Carlo C. Tabaloc.

Both properties have an area of 411 square meters, for a combined area of 822 square meters. The documents identify the properties as Technology Resource Center (TRC) properties.

PMO is up and running! 🏃‍♂️

The PMO workforce joined more than 16,000 runners at the Quirino Grandstand for the NCR leg of the Lingkod Bayani Run 2026, one of the highlights of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

With the theme “Stride as One, Serve the Nation,” the run brought employees from across government agencies together for a morning that promoted health, wellness, and camaraderie.

The event is a fundraiser for the Pamanang Lingkod Bayani Program, which provides assistance to the families of civilian public servants who lost their lives in the line of duty.
