📢 UPDATE: PMO Enhances Asset Disposition Through Updated Guidelines

The Privatization and Management Office (PMO) conducted a Public Auction on 14 April 2026 at its Makati City office.

Under PMO’s enhanced disposition guidelines, the lone bidder was given the opportunity to formally submit an offer to purchase, which is currently under evaluation in accordance with established approval processes. This refined approach demonstrates PMO’s commitment to a more responsive and efficient asset disposition system, ensuring continued progress even in cases of limited bidder participation.

The PMO remains committed to transparency, accountability, and adherence to established policies in all its disposition activities.

IN PHOTOS: The Privatization and Management Office (PMO) conducted a seminar on the Guidelines on the Privatization and Disposition of Government Assets on April 8, 2026 at the Governance Commission for GOCC. The PMO team included Deputy Privatization Officer for Marketing Atty. Carlo C. Tabaloc, Division Chief of Marketing Ms. Melinda B. Cortez, Marketing Specialist Ms. Jennifer E. Brigola, and Atty. Rechel T. De Torres.

The training provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the PMO, as well as detailed discussions on pre-disposition activities such as asset tiering, appraisal, and base price determination. It also covered the various modes of disposition including public auction, negotiated sale, and unsolicited proposals along with policies on blacklisting and broker accreditation.

🔹 Manage records of asset’s repairs, construction projects, and bills of materials
🔹 Monitor performance of security agency, its personnel, and caretakers

In support of the national government’s energy conservation efforts, pursuant to Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 114 dated March 6, 2026, the Privatization and Management Office (PMO) has adopted a 4-day on-site workweek arrangement effective March 9, 2026 with the following schedules:

🗓️ Schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM):
• Monday to Thursday – On-site Operations
• Friday – Remote Work
