In support of the PNP Focused Agenda on Management of Resources under the leadership of 𝐏𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐎 𝐂 𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐙 𝐉𝐑, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞, the PNP Finance Service (PNP FS), led by 𝐏𝐁𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐔 𝐑𝐎𝐘 𝐕 𝐀𝐋𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐄, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐏𝐍𝐏 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, conducted its 3rd Consultative Meeting with Accredited Financial Institutions (AFIs) on September 22, 2026, at the PNP FS Multi-Purpose Facility, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.

Attended by the PNP FS Command Group, Division Chiefs, and AFI representatives both onsite and virtually, the meeting served as a platform to address concerns, clarify processes, and strengthen coordination toward more efficient, reliable, and responsive financial services for PNP personnel.

Emphasizing the value of sustained partnership and continuous improvement, PBGEN ALZATE underscored the shared responsibility of the PNP FS and its financial partners in advancing financial service delivery, stating, “May this milestone serve as a reminder of our shared commitment to innovation, reliability, and service excellence.”

The activity reaffirmed the PNP Finance Service’s commitment to stronger partnerships, accountable resource management, and service excellence for the men and women of the Philippine National Police.

In support of the PNP Focused Agenda on the Modernization of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Infrastructure under the leadership of 𝐏𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐎 𝐂 𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐙 𝐉𝐑, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞, and 𝐏𝐁𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐔 𝐑𝐎𝐘 𝐕 𝐀𝐋𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐄, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐏𝐍𝐏 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, the PNP Finance Service (PNP FS) launched the Enhanced Salary Deduction and Loan Information System (SDLIS) on September 22, 2026, at the PNP FS Multi-Purpose Facility, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.

The Enhanced SDLIS aims to streamline salary deduction and loan-related transactions through improved digital processes, promoting greater accuracy, efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of financial services for PNP personnel nationwide.

During the launching, PBGEN ALZATE emphasized the importance of continuously enhancing PNP FS digital systems to meet the evolving needs of PNP personnel and provide faster, more reliable, and responsive financial services.

The Go-Live of the Enhanced SDLIS marks another significant step toward a more efficient, transparent, and digitally enabled PNP Finance Service, reinforcing its commitment to harness technology in serving the men and women of the Philippine National Police.

Guided by the strategic direction of 𝐏𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐎 𝐂 𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐙 𝐉𝐑., 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞, the PNP Finance Service (PNP FS) welcomed 𝐏𝐌𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐍 𝐓 𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 (𝐂𝐒𝐆), and his delegation during an onsite visit to the PNP FS National Headquarters, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City, focusing on the Service’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems, infrastructure, and digital capabilities.

During the engagement, 𝐏𝐁𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐔 𝐑𝐎𝐘 𝐕 𝐀𝐋𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐄, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐏𝐍𝐏 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, presented the Service’s existing ICT infrastructure and financial systems, highlighting continuing initiatives in digitalization, systems integration, cybersecurity, and modernization to provide more efficient, secure, and responsive financial services to PNP units nationwide.

Beyond the presentation, the visit served as a platform for knowledge-sharing and exchange of best practices between CSG and PNP FS. Through a better understanding of their respective systems, capabilities, and operational requirements, both Services explored how technology, coordination, and shared expertise can further strengthen organizational efficiency and support the PNP mission.

The engagement supports the PNP Focused Agenda, particularly Management of Resources, and reinforces the PNP Finance Service’s commitment to harnessing technology, innovation, and collaboration toward a more integrated, secure, and efficient financial management system.

PNP ALL SET FOR MARTIAL LAW ANNIVERSARY; OVER 17,000 POLICE DEPLOYED

Under the leadership of Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), the PNP is ready to help ensure public safety and maintain peace and order during the 54th anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law on September 21, with 17,018 personnel deployed nationwide.

A total of 17,018 personnel have been deployed to ensure police presence, readiness, and timely response in key areas. This includes 8,553 NCRPO personnel, 465 Regional Support Unit personnel, 1,000 Reactionary Standby Support Force (RSSF), 1,000 personnel from PRO CAR, 1,000 from PRO1, 2,000 from PRO3, 2,000 from PRO4A, and 1,000 personnel from the Philippine Coast Guard.

As part of the heightened security preparations, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) placed its units under Full Alert Status effective 12:01 AM on September 18, 2026, with full deployment beginning on the evening of September 19.

Police units are maintaining close coordination with local government units and other concerned agencies while preparing to respond to situations that may arise. Chief PNP Nartatez directed personnel to exercise maximum tolerance, restraint, and professionalism, particularly during public assemblies.

“We are ready for the activities on September 21. Our job is to keep people safe while respecting their right to peacefully express themselves. Nakaantabay ang ating mga pulis, and I expect every personnel to exercise maximum tolerance, sound judgment, and professionalism,” PGen Nartatez said.

He also called on participants to help keep the observance safe and orderly.

“To those joining the activities, express your views peacefully, respect one another, and follow reasonable safety instructions when necessary. Kung may concern or emergency, approach our police personnel or responders. We are there to assist and ensure everyone’s safety,” he added.

The PNP reminds the public to keep emergency routes and access points clear, avoid actions that may endanger others, and promptly report medical, safety, or security concerns to police personnel or emergency responders. Participants are likewise encouraged to look after children and other vulnerable individuals in their groups.

The security preparations are aligned with the PNP Focused Agenda, particularly Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO), which promotes coordinated, responsive, and accountable police service. Under the leadership of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the PNP continues to uphold public safety, the rule of law, and respect for human rights.

The PNP reiterates its commitment to protecting the public and respecting peaceful assembly and expression as it works toward a safe and orderly observance, consistent with its commitment to “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.”
