Nagbigay babala ang Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) sa lahat ng magniniyog at sa publiko kaugnay ng mga ulat tungkol sa mga indibidwal o grupong nagpapanggap na konektado sa ahensya at nag-aalok ng mga binhi ng dwarf coconut o programang pagtatanim ng niyog kapalit ng pagsali sa kanilang samahan at pagbabayad ng โ‚ฑ300.00 registration fee. Hinihingi rin umano ng mga ito ang kopya ng valid ID at lagda ng mga aplikante sa pamamagitan ng Messenger.

Mariing nililinaw ng PCA na walang awtorisadong indibidwal o pribadong grupo na mangolekta ng registration o membership fee, mag-recruit ng mga miyembro para sa ahensya, o magpatupad ng mga programa at proyekto ng PCA sa kanilang sariling pangalan. Ang lahat ng opisyal na programa at serbisyo ng PCA ay isinasagawa lamang sa pamamagitan ng mga tanggapan at mga kawani ng PCA na nakatalaga sa mga lalawigan, lungsod, at munisipalidad, at walang anumang bayad ang pagpaparehistro upang maging benepisyaryo ng mga ito.

Hinihikayat ang lahat na maging mapagmatyag at agad na iulat sa pinakamalapit na tanggapan ng PCA ang sinumang nagpapakilalang kinatawan ng ahensya na humihingi ng pera o personal na impormasyon. Sama-sama nating protektahan ang ating mga magniniyog laban sa mga mapanlinlang na indibidwal o grupo.
