We, in the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority, shall strive to:

A government owned and controlled corporation attached to the Department of Agriculture, created to promote the development of the fishing industry through the provision of post-harvest infrastructure facilities and essential services that improve efficiency in the handling and distribution of fish and fishery products and enhance their quality. The Philippine Fisheries Development Authority endeavors to achieve these objectives:

Promote the development of the fisheries industry and improve efficiency in the handling and distribution of fish and fishery/aquatic products through the establishment and operation of fish ports, fish markets, and other post-harvest facilities; and. Provide essential fisheries-related post-harvest services that would improve the quality of fish products that could compete in the global market. Performance Pledge

Provide you prompt and efficient service from Mondays to Fridays starting at 8:00 a.m. at our Central Office and 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at our Regional Offices. Field in qualified and authorized personnel to attend to your requests even during lunch and snack time. Deal with your complaints, comments and suggestions expeditiously and make available corresponding remedies if necessary. Abide by the rules, regulations and service standards, with proper explanations for any delinquency in frontline services.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Mangingisda, nakikiisa ang Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) sa pagkilala sa sipag at sakripisyo ng ating mga mangingisda sa food security at kabuhayan ng bansa.

Kaisa ang PFDA sa mga programang magpapalakas sa sektor ng pangisdaan at mag-aangat sa kapakanan ng ating mga kababayan sa baybayin at karagatan.

Sa araw na ito, ating bigyang pugay, suportahan, at pasalamatan ang mga mangingisda na tunay na haligi ng ating yamang-dagat. Sama-sama nating
itaguyod ang kanilang kabuhayan para sa mas maunlad na kinabukasan ng Pilipinas.

Sa kabila ng mga pagsubok na kinakaharap natin ngayon, ang kanilang pagsisikap ang nagdadala ng pagkain sa ating hapag at nagpapanatili ng kabuhayan sa ating mga komunidad. Kilalanin natin ang kanilang mga sakripisyo, suportahan ang kanilang kabuhayan, at magtulungan upang matiyak na ang kanilang kontribusyon ay pinahahalagahan at pinoprotektahan.

| Nakiisa ang Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) sa isinagawang groundbreaking at inauguration ceremony para sa Dingalan Fish Port, 10-metric ton (MT) Ice Plant at Ice Storage Facility sa Brgy. Paltic, Dingalan, Aurora noong Mayo 28, 2026, bilang implementing agency ng proyektong naglalayong palakasin ang fisheries infrastructure at post-harvest facilities sa lalawigan.

Pinangunahan ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Dingalan ang programa kasama ang mga kinatawan mula sa PFDA, pamahalaang panlalawigan, sektor ng pangisdaan, at iba’t ibang stakeholder.
