Participation in the MR-SIA (Ligtas Tigdas) Motorcade

Personnel of Romblon District Jail headed by JSINSP EMELY B MALLEN, Acting Jail Warden participated in the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) or Ligtas Tigdas Program through Motorcade. This activity aims to raise public awareness and promote community support for the successful implementation of the MR-SIA Campaign.

TINGNAN: Tumanggap ngayong araw ng pinansyal na ayuda ang dalawampung (20) Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) ng Romblon District Jail (RDJ) sa pamamagitan ng Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Layunin ng TUPAD Program na magbigay ng pansamantalang oportunidad sa kabuhayan at tulong pinansyal sa mga kwalipikadong benepisyaryo, kabilang ang mga Persons Deprived of Liberty, bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng pamahalaan na isulong ang rehabilitasyon, paglinang ng kakayahan, at matagumpay na pagbabalik sa lipunan.

Patuloy na sinusuportahan ng Romblon District Jail, sa pangunguna ng acting jail warden JSINSP EMELY B MALLEN, ang mga programang nagbibigay ng pag-asa at pagkakataon sa mga PDL na magkaroon ng mas magandang kinabukasan. Ang mga ganitong inisyatiba ay nagpapalakas sa kanilang kakayahang maging produktibong mamamayan at naghahanda sa kanilang matagumpay na pagbabalik sa kanilang mga pamilya at komunidad.

NAKIBAHAGI ANG BJMP ROMBLON SA DOH CHIKITING LIGTAS CAMPAIGN MOTORCADE

TINGNAN: Bilang pakikiisa sa adbokasiya ng pamahalaan para sa kalusugan ng mga bata, aktibong nakilahok ang mga kawani ng Romblon District Jail (RDJ) sa Chikiting Ligtas Campaign ng Department of Health (DOH) sa pamamagitan ng isang motorcade na isinagawa sa buong bayan ng Romblon.

Ang Romblon District Jail, sa pangunguna ni Acting Jail Warden JSINSP EMELY B MALLEN, ay buong pusong nakiisa sa motorcade kasama ang iba pang kalahok na ahensya bilang pagpapakita ng suporta ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) sa programa ng DOH. Inikot ng motorcade ang mga pangunahing lansangan ng bayan upang hikayatin ang mga magulang at tagapag-alaga na pabakunahan ang kanilang mga anak at palawakin ang kamalayan ng publiko tungkol sa kahalagahan ng pagbabakuna.

Layunin ng Chikiting Ligtas Campaign na mapataas ang bilang ng mga batang nababakunahan, maprotektahan sila laban sa mga sakit na maaaring maiwasan sa pamamagitan ng bakuna, at maiwasan ang paglaganap ng mga nakahahawang sakit sa komunidad. Sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng iba't ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan at mga katuwang sa komunidad, patuloy na isinusulong ang isang ligtas, malusog, at matatag na lipunan para sa bawat batang Pilipino.

The management visitation focused heavily on evaluating the facility’s overall security posture, personnel alertness, custodial discipline, and the living conditions of the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

During the inspection, meticulously scrutinized the jail's perimeter defenses, cell blocks, and logistics infrastructure. She emphasized the critical need for absolute vigilance among the custodial force, highlighting that strict adherence to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) operational manual is non-negotiable in maintaining facility control.

LOOK: As part of strengthening partnership and collaboration between the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Provincial Government of Romblon, Provincial Jail Administrator JSINSP ROWENA F OLIVAR, together with the District Jail Wardens of Romblon Province, paid a courtesy call on Gov. Trina Firmalo-Fabic.

The visit served as an opportunity to reaffirm the strong working relationship between the Provincial Government and the BJMP in promoting peace and order, public safety, and the continuous improvement of jail management and rehabilitation programs for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

During the meeting, the officials discussed collaborative initiatives aimed at enhancing rehabilitation services, strengthening community-based partnerships, and ensuring the effective delivery of programs that contribute to the welfare of both jail personnel and PDLs.

The BJMP expressed its sincere appreciation to Governor Trina Firmalo-Fabic for her unwavering support and commitment to the agency's mission.
