A meeting of the Budget & Finance Committee of SIDB was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, Additional Secretary (II), Industries, Commerce & Technical Education Department, to review and finalize the proposed budget estimates for FY 2026–27. Meeting was attended by Noman Fayaz Dy. MD SIDB, Basheer Ahmad Director Finance and Imdadullah Section officer Finance Department.

The committee thoroughly examined budgetary priorities, operational requirements, and development initiatives while emphasizing prudent financial management and efficient resource utilization. Discussions also focused on exploring innovative and sustainable revenue-generation measures to strengthen SIDB’s financial sustainability and institutional efficiency.

After detailed deliberations, the committee unanimously finalized the draft budget proposal incorporating key recommendations and strategic inputs.

The Deputy Director-I (Imp); Engr. Zohaib Hassan Khan, along with Sub Engineer (Imp); Sohail Jillani and Senior President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kohat, Faheem Ullah Khan, visited the site upon request of the Small Industrial Association Kohat. Former Secretary Auqaf, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Zubair Shah Khan, paid a visit to the Pak-German Woodworking Center to review its operations and ongoing initiatives. Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by Abdul Hameed Khan, Managing Director of the Small Industries Development Board (SIDB), who provided a comprehensive briefing on the center’s background, objectives, and current activities.
During the briefing, it was explained that the Pak-German Woodworking Center has been playing a key role in promoting skilled craftsmanship, modern woodworking techniques, and the production of high-quality furniture for various government departments. The center also aims to strengthen technical training, create employment opportunities, and contribute to the local economy through value-added wood products.
Zubair Shah Khan expressed his appreciation for the efforts of SIDB and the management of the center, particularly acknowledging the quality and durability of furniture being supplied to government institutions. He noted that such initiatives not only enhance institutional efficiency but also support the development of skilled human resources in the province.
Deputy Managing Director Noman Fayaz and Project Director Habib Rauf were also present on the occasion. They shared additional insights into ongoing projects, future expansion plans, and the challenges faced by the center. The visit concluded with a detailed walkthrough of the facility, where the former Secretary observed various stages of production and interacted with staff and trainees.

اسمال انڈسٹری کے لیے سولر سسٹم کی اہمیت اور افادیت

آج کے دور میں توانائی (بجلی) کسی بھی صنعت کی بنیادی ضرورت ہے، خصوصاً اسمال انڈسٹری (چھوٹی صنعتوں) کے لیے جہاں لاگت، تسلسل اور پیداوار کا براہِ راست انحصار بجلی پر ہوتا ہے۔ پاکستان جیسے ملک میں جہاں بجلی کی لوڈشیڈنگ، بڑھتے ہوئے ٹیرف اور غیر یقینی سپلائی ایک بڑا مسئلہ ہے، وہاں سولر سسٹم (شمسی توانائی) ایک بہترین اور پائیدار حل کے طور پر سامنے آیا ہے۔

1. لاگت میں نمایاں کمی
سولر سسٹم نصب کرنے کے بعد بجلی کے ماہانہ بل میں نمایاں کمی آتی ہے۔ اسمال انڈسٹریز جو پہلے بھاری بلوں کی وجہ سے مالی دباؤ کا شکار ہوتی تھیں، اب اپنی لاگت کو کافی حد تک کم کر سکتی ہیں، جس سے منافع میں اضافہ ہوتا ہے۔

2. لوڈشیڈنگ سے نجات
سولر سسٹم بجلی کی بندش کے دوران بھی توانائی فراہم کرتا ہے، خاص طور پر اگر بیٹری بیک اپ موجود ہو۔ اس سے پیداواری عمل متاثر نہیں ہوتا اور مشینری مسلسل چلتی رہتی ہے۔

3. ماحول دوست توانائی
شمسی توانائی ایک صاف اور ماحول دوست ذریعہ ہے۔ اس کے استعمال سے کاربن اخراج کم ہوتا ہے، جو ماحولیاتی تحفظ میں اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔

4. طویل مدتی سرمایہ کاری
ابتدائی لاگت کے باوجود، سولر سسٹم ایک طویل مدتی سرمایہ کاری ہے۔ عام طور پر 3 سے 5 سال میں اس کی لاگت پوری ہو جاتی ہے، جبکہ اس کی عمر 20 سے 25 سال تک ہو سکتی ہے۔

5. توانائی میں خود کفالت
سولر سسٹم کے ذریعے انڈسٹری اپنی بجلی خود پیدا کر سکتی ہے، جس سے وہ حکومتی نظام یا بجلی کی کمپنیوں پر کم انحصار کرتی ہے۔

6. حکومتی مراعات اور نیٹ میٹرنگ
پاکستان میں نیٹ میٹرنگ کی سہولت موجود ہے، جس کے ذریعے اضافی بجلی قومی گرڈ کو بیچ کر آمدنی بھی حاصل کی جا سکتی ہے۔ اس سے سرمایہ کاری مزید فائدہ مند بن جاتی ہے۔

7. پیداواری تسلسل اور کاروباری استحکام
بجلی کی بلا تعطل فراہمی کی وجہ سے پیداواری عمل میں رکاوٹ نہیں آتی، جس سے ڈیلیوری وقت پر ہوتی ہے اور کاروبار کا اعتماد بڑھتا ہے۔

نتیجہ
سولر سسٹم اسمال انڈسٹری کے لیے صرف ایک متبادل نہیں بلکہ ایک ناگزیر ضرورت بنتا جا رہا ہے۔ یہ نہ صرف لاگت میں کمی، بلکہ پیداوار میں تسلسل، ماحول کی حفاظت اور کاروباری استحکام کو یقینی بناتا ہے۔

According to the government's vision of teaching skills to the youth, the process of teaching in the furniture industry is continuing in the Pak German Wood Working Center Peshawar under the management of SIDB. From 7:30 to 3:00 pm , the students are not only given monthly scholarships, but they are also given material for study books and practicals. Initially, this course consists of two years. is selected for another one and a half year course (diploma).
نوجوانوں کو ہنر سکھانے کے حکومتی وژن کے مطابق ایس آئی ڈی بی کے زیر انتظام پاک جرمن ووڈ ورکنگ سنٹر پشاور میں فرنیچر کی صنعت میں سکھانے کا عمل بدستور جاری ہے 13 طالباء پر مشتمل گروپ کا تربیتی سیشن جنوری 15 ، 2026 سے شروع ہو چکا ہے جو صبح 7：30 سے لیکر سپہر 3：00بجے تک ہوتا ہے میں طالباء کو نہ صرف ماہانہ سکالرشپ دی جاتی ہے بلکہ انہیں سٹڈی بک اور پریکٹیکل کے لیے میٹریل بھی دیا جاتا ہے ابتداء میں یہ کورس دو سال پہ مشتمل ہے بعد ازاں نمایاں کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرنے پر طالباء کا مزید ڈیڑھ سالہ کورس (
