🇹🇭🦾 A Landmark Achievement! Thailand is selected to host the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) 2030, the world's largest conference on robotics and artificial intelligence (AI).

Recently, Dr. Jaruwan Suwannasat, Senior Vice President of Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn and Dr. Nantida Nillahoot from the Center for Biomedical and Robotics Technology (BART LAB), Mahidol University, represented Thailand in presenting the country's capabilities and readiness to the Administrative Committee (AdCom) of the IEEE Robotics & Automation Society (RAS) in Vienna, Austria and successfully securing the rights to host the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) 2030.

IEEE ICRA 2030 is one of the world’s premier conferences on robotics and artificial intelligence, expected to attract more than 12,000 researchers, academics, industry leaders, innovators, and robotics professionals from around the world. Securing the rights to host the IEEE ICRA 2030 not only demonstrates Thailand’s capability to deliver a world-class international conference but also reinforces the country’s position as a leading hub for the robotics and AI ecosystem. This achievement reflects the strong collaboration among universities, research organizations, and the public sector in elevating Thailand’s position on the global stage and creating a legacy.

เมื่อสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ดร.จารุวรรณ สุวรรณศาสน์ รองผู้อำนวยการ สำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (ทีเส็บ) พร้อมด้วยรศ. ดร.จักรกฤษณ์ ศุทธากรณ์ และ ดร.นันทิดา นิลหุต จากศูนย์เครือข่ายวิจัยประยุกต์ทางเทคโนโลยีหุ่นยนต์และชีวการแพทย์ (BART LAB) มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ในฐานะตัวแทนประเทศไทยเข้าร่วมนำเสนอศักยภาพและความพร้อมต่อคณะกรรมการบริหาร (AdCom) ของ IEEE Robotics & Automation Society (RAS) ณ กรุงเวียนนา สาธารณรัฐออสเตรีย และสามารถคว้าสิทธิ์ในการเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานในปี 2030 ได้สำเร็จ
