As we enter this Memorial Day Weekend, we as Veterans, Honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
This weekend is not about us Veterans or our Current Active Duty Military personnel, but about those we have lost over the years.
Help us in Honoring the Fallen but Never Forgotten on this Memorial Day..... .

Introducing our next Post Commander, Deven Robitaille.

The first photo in this group is one that I put together using her employment photo from the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce where she works as an Events Manager.

The photos of her in uniform were taken in uniform in Korea, while serving in the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade ( her first duty station). Her vehicle was the Battery Command Post (BCP). She was a 14J, which is part of Air Defense Artillery specializing in detecting and protecting against airborne threats including both short and long range missiles. Specifically she worked with the Patriots Missile and Radar system, analayzing digital intelligence, identifying enemy threats and reporting findings to higher echelons.

The final photo was taken on the day she was sworn in to serve on the Governor’s Advisory Board for Veteran Affairs.

We all welcome her into her new post and wish her much success as she carries out her mandate as the Post Commander of the VFW Tuttle Post #7239.
