🚧 Major Milestone! We successfully completed the controlled demolition of the old SR 8 bridge over the Cuyahoga River Valley in Akron this morning. Crews now begin the cleanup process and construction of the new SR 8 northbound bridge. Tomorrow morning, Sunday, September 27, between 8 and 11 a.m., SR 8 north and southbound between Perkins St. and Tallmadge Ave. will be CLOSED for construction operations. The detour will be to use I-76 to I-77 to I-271. Additional ramps in the area will also be closed, check www.OHGO.com
