Springfield Township Police Department Welcomes New Addition Of A Support K9 🐾

The Springfield Township Police Department has been selected to participate in a Support Dog Program. Our support dog, Ruby, is a two-year-old mixed-breed and has been assigned to Officer Cory Dorsey. Officer Dorsey is our School Resource Officer at Schrop Intermediate School.

We would like to give a huge thank you to Pet Supples Plus in Cuyahoga Falls for offering their grooming services for Ruby. Pet Supplies Plus has also offered to donate food for this working dog for the foreseeable future!

Please join us in welcoming Ruby to the Springfield Township community!

The K9 apparel featuring the best shirt design yet is now up and running! This store will remain open until August 7. At that time all orders will be processed and printed. Orders will be completed by the week of August 24. There are YOUTH and ADULT options. All YOUTH apparel is ONLY AVAILABLE in BLACK. The ADULT tee shirts and Hoodies are available in Black, Military Green, and Charcoal. And the ADULT Crewneck Sweatshirts are Black and Charcoal only.

THANK YOU to the KONG Company for the donation of treats and toys for the Springfield Police K-9 unit. These items will help benefit those in attendance for the car show on July 24th!
