Hatching Hope Disaster Relief, a 501c3 nonprofit, aids communities struck by disasters.

We provide essentials like bedding, hygiene kits, and cleanup supplies to displaced families to bring hope and comfort in crisis. Hatching Hope was Co-Founded by Keli Lynch-Wright and her son Ashton after experiencing the loss of their family home to a fire in 2010. Their mission is to support families, children, and even pets that are affected by disasters with much needed supplies and humanitarian aid. Since our launch, we have been blessed with the ability to provide for over 125,000 families across the southern United States, and even the Bahamas. During the pandemic, we have heavily supported schools, churches, first responders, senior citizen, and underserved communities across the State of Alabama. With the launch of our campus in Pelham, Alabama we were able to work with our partners to provide 1,000 families with PPE survival kits, as well as 1,000 free COVID tests. And we’re no stranger to large loss disasters having served in communities affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria, Florence, Michael, Dorian. In all delivering several hundred thousand pounds of relief supplies, furniture, and clothing. Our work with Hurricane Michael spanned over a year, with 10 major deployments to serve and distribute supplies, clothing, and furniture. Close to home we worked intently with the Jacksonville, Alabama community in the aftermath of the tornado that hit JSU and surrounding areas, as well as post tornado work in Beauregard, Alabama where 23 lives were lost. Fresh off an amazing day in Huntsville, we brought the love home to Birmingham for another MAAke a Difference Day!

That’s 244 kits filled with comfort, care, and HOPE, ready to be distributed across the East Coast and beyond when the need arises, bringing relief to families and their beloved pets impacted by disaster!

For the second year, this team has turned compassion into action, filling each kit with essentials, heartfelt messages, and a little extra LOVE!

And the day got even sweeter with a special check presentation from MAA supporting our mission! ❤️

HOPE for Winter Haven💙

Hatching Hope relief essentials have been delivered to support residents affected by the fire at The Haven at Deer Lake in Winter Haven, Florida. We are keeping the residents, their pets, and the site team in our prayers.

A heartfelt thank-you to our friends and supporters at BluSky Restoration Contractors for making this delivery and helping bring comfort to neighbors facing an unexpected loss.

We are also grateful to the first responders who cared for this community including its smallest, furry members. 🐾

We’re incredibly proud to stand alongside our friends at the American Red Cross of Alabama as we support neighbors displaced by an early morning apartment fire at The Haven in Hoover, Alabama.

Through Hatching Hope, we’re honored to help support these families as they begin the road to recovery. While we can’t undo what they’ve experienced, together we can help make that road a little easier, a little faster, and filled with HOPE.

From immediate assistance and disaster-relief essentials to helping residents find their footing again, every organization brings something meaningful to the table. And when we work together, our impact is even greater.

A bear to hold. A reminder of love. A piece of Holli’s heart carried forward. 💙💚

Behind every Holli’s HOPE bear is a story of compassion, remembrance, and people coming together to comfort children in their hardest moments. Created in loving memory of our dear friend and industry great, Holli Noel DePold.

Each bow is tied by hand, each bear is packaged with care, and every one is prayed over before leaving our hands. It is our small way of reflecting the kindness Holli so freely shared.

In just two days, this generous circle of supporters has made it possible for nearly 50 children displaced by disasters to receive a Holli’s HOPE bear,something soft to hold and a reminder that they are loved. Sponsors also receive a commemorative bear as a meaningful reminder of the difference they helped make!

To Holli’s family, friends, and everyone helping carry this tribute forward: thank you. From our hands to yours, Holli’s kindness is at the heart of every detail.

So many of you reached out to Hatching Hope on behalf of 2700 at Homewood. It felt like the entire city was looking out for this community, and we’re grateful for that care.

We returned to check in on the site team and residents, our second visit since August. We are deeply thankful there were no injuries, and our hearts are with everyone affected.

To everyone who called, messaged, and made sure we knew, THANK YOU! We heard you, we responded, and we’re here to support our multifamily family.
