We are absolutely bursting with gratitude! A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Tractor Supply today to adopt a new family member or just shower our fur-babies with love. ❤️

Because of your incredible support, 5 fantastic dogs found their forever homes today! 🎉 There is truly nothing better than seeing their tails wag as they head off into their new lives. 🐕✨

🐾 BIG NEWS, ALAMOGORDO! 🐾

The Otero County Animal Shelter is hitting the road TOMORROW! Come meet your new best friend at Tractor Supply TOMORROW, May 30th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM!

We will have a some very adorable puppies and a grouop of wonderful adult dogs who are more than ready to find their forever homes. 🐶❤️

⚠️ IMPORTANT EVENT INFO:

CASH ONLY: Please come prepared, as we won't be able to process cards at the event. 💵
Puppies & Small Breeds: $100
Adult Dogs (6 months+ / Medium & Large): $50

All adoptions include age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, a microchip and the spay/neuter surgery.

Newest intakes at the Otero County Animal Shelter. All animals are placed on a 72 hour hold from the time they enter the shelter. This hold allows the owners time to reclaim their animals.

If you see your animal or have any questions please stop by in person or call 575-434-2959.

Adoption fee: $100.00 for puppies and small breed dogs. $50.00 for adult dogs and cats Adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccines and microchip.

Looking to add some extra love, joy, and wagging tails to your life? Meet all of our amazing rescue dogs available for adoption right now at the Otero County Animal Shelter! ❤️

We know that finding the perfect fit for your home is incredibly important. That’s why we conduct behavioral tests on all of our dogs!

🐱 Family Fit: Need to know if they are kid, cat, or dog-friendly? We’ve got you covered!

🏡 Home Manners: Wondering if they are leash trained, potty trained, or kennel trained? We track that, too!

🎓 Basic Training: While they are with us, we work with our pups on basic manners and leash walking to give them a head start.

🏷️ Adoption Fees:
Puppies & Small Breed Dogs: $100
Medium & Large Breed Adult Dogs (over 6 months): $50

Every adoption includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, a microchip, and the dog’s spay/neuter surgery! 🩺✨

Meet Yen 🐾

Yen is a 3-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix looking for her forever home ❤️ She came to us as a surrender while pregnant, and after lovingly raising her puppies, it’s finally her turn to find a family of her own.

Yen is dog friendly, spayed, current on vaccines, and ready to start her next chapter. She has been through a lot and deserves a home where she can be loved and spoiled.
