Please drop off any donations for the Friends of the Amity Library School Supply Drive to Amity Library or Amity City Hall by Friday August 21 during regular business hours.

Saturday was party time to congratulate our summer readers!

Games, coaster-decorating, planting zinnia seeds, swag bag giveaways, ice cream, and of course the raffle prizes!

We had a great turnout for Oregon Coast Aquarium's visit with their Amazon Basin program last Wednesday. Thank you all for coming!

We learned about sloths and armadillos and poison dart frogs, oh my! And then everyone created their own animal - the catch was it had to be one born of what we had just learned and our own imaginations.

(But wouldn't it be fun to see a batty-red-bellied-poison-dart-tegu-with-a-salamander-tail in real life?)

🎁Prize Bags for all the kids who finished their 10 hour reading trackers

🌽Corn Hole competition (and prizes!)

🌱Yamhill County Master Gardeners craft with seed planting

🎨Decorate your own coasters

🍨Ice cream!

🎟Raffle drawing for the big prizes will begin somewhere between 11:45 and 12:15.
